Spring Breakers Competition

Spring break seems so fucked up – drunk jocks and girls in bikinis making terrible decisions to even worse music, but having so much fun doing it. We really enjoyed Vice’s article explaining it to us delicate English roses the other day. Of all the people to make a crime film set in that world, we never expected Harmony Korine of Kids and Gummo fame to be the one in the director’s chair.

On Friday 5th April Duke’s at Komedia are throwing an opening night party, showing the film and then following things up with Sextape DJs replicating the spring break feel in the Komedia Studio Bar – by playing tracks from the soundtrack (featuring Cliff Martinez, who did the music for Drive, and Skrillex) rather than dressing in bikinis we hope.

We’ve got two tickets to the film and party to give away. Just email [email protected] with the subject ‘Breakers’. We’ll draw it on Thursday 4th April.
