2nd Hidden Herd All-Dayer Announced

Not ones to rest on their laurels, Hidden Herd have announced their second all-dayer at the Green Door Store. The last event was a delightful day which included a particularly fantastic performance from The Leaning. The line-up for this second event is even stronger. Featuring a range of local and national bands, the gig looks spectacular and we expect a queue ready for the moment the doors open.

Opening up, we have dream pop from the Stanford Family Band. You will also be treated to the crazy party genius of Room Service, eccentric pop from Vanity Fairy, the amazing songwriting of Ladylike and the early PJ sounds of Fräulein. That is just the afternoon. As day turns to evening, food for the belly will be available outside, and the food for the soul inside starts with the rootin’ tootin’ cowboy sounds of local legends Trip Westerns, before some powerful pop punk from the very lovable Currls, and captivating theatrical folk from the mighty Bishopskin, who were phenomenal when they played a Hidden Herd night at the Hope & Ruin.

The headline slot will be provided by Leeds band Adult DVD. They have clearly tapped into the psychic reverberations of the ‘not as far north as it likes to think it is’ greyness of West Yorkshire to find that classic synth punk sound that reverberates across the dark hills from Manchester to Sheffield and up to Calderdale.

It promises to be a perfect day out.
