Asian Dub Foundation, Sun 25th Sept

Aug 25, 2016

Posted by Mike Tudor

If you’ve seen Asian Dub Foundation before then you’re probably looking forward to seeing them again, if you haven’t then this is an opportunity you shouldn’t pass up. They offer a combination of hard jungle rhythms, dub bass lines, punk rock guitars, the odd sitar and politically conscious rap and raga lyrics.

The band’s latest album ‘More Signal More Noise’ was released in July last year and saw them go back to a more militant dub sound, no doubt prompted by the the return of bassist and founder Dr Das – or possibly by the new entry of flute/beatboxer Nathan Lee. Strap yourselves in for the full force of their live show.
