Emeli Sandé, Fri 5th April

Over the last year, Emeli Sandé’s relentless TV exposure must be starting to bore even her most ardent fans. There’s only so many times you can hear ‘Next To Me’ or ‘Read All About It’. Judging by Sandé’s plans to take a break and record new music, she probably feels the same way, but we’re sure both parties can still muster up some enthusiasm for her overly familiar material. After all, they’re still great songs – even if they’ve been played to death.
