Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Wed 28th Oct

Hugely influential Canadian post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor have managed to maintain a rare mystique hard to achieve in these days of social media, whilst producing epic and slow-building music full of dark atmosphere and beautiful crescendos. Maybe you knew they were awesome and felt gutted you missed your chance to see them live after they went on hiatus in 2003. Perhaps you’ve made the same mistake again when they reformed five years ago. Either way, now is your chance to redeem yourself. Known for their intense and stunning live shows, Godspeed You! Black Emperor use all nine musicians on stage to create compelling soundscapes with unique speaker set-ups and live projections. Expect the sort of show where the volume swallows you whole.

This one-person, one-act play is giddy, funny and seriously entertaining. An odyssey through the madness of corporate pressure on our mental health.
