Best Foot Music is a Brighton-based organisation that works with musicians from migrant and refugee backgrounds. On Saturday 18th February they’re organising a free festival at London Road’s Open Market in celebration of International Language Day (which is actually on the 21st). There’ll be live music and food from South Asia, Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, as well as dance and art workshops.
If the Soundcloud clips on their website are anything to go by, it promises to be some party. Check ’em out here.
And yes, it looks like the above guys in the amazing pink headwear (aka 4×4 Bhangra) will be in attendance, injecting some welcome colour into the February greyness.
