Now in his early 70s, legendary acoustic guitarist Michael Chapman rose to prominence at the height of the UK folk scene in the 60s. He was championed by John Peel, recording 10 Peel sessions for the show, as well as appearing on The Old Grey Whistle Test. Still a prolific writer, to date he has released nearly 40 albums, while the past year has seen him invited to tour the UK and America alongside the likes of Bill Callahan and Thurston Moore.
