Oh Captain are a three-piece post punk hardcore band from Brighton who combine the influences of At The Drive-in, Alexisonfire and God Is an Astronaut while maintaining a sound all of their own. Two guitarists, three vocalists, an array of pedals and a back bone of driving drum work combine to make a furiously energetic sound with flashes of psychedelia.

We’ve seen them several times over the last couple of years and their high octane live show is clearly quite a cathartic experience, full of sweat but as yet no blood and tears. Their debut album ‘Pistols Out’ came out in October last year and this show is a chance to hear some of the new music they’ve been working on.
