The Rocky Horror Picture Show 50th Anniversary, Fri 17th April

It seems to have been around forever, so it’s no surprise that Richard O’Brien’s camp classic is now celebrating its 50th anniversary. In honour of this landmark, Brighton Dome is hosting a screening of the 4k remastered film and an interactive evening featuring a pre-show Q&A with three of its iconic stars: the original Brad Majors – Barry Bostwick, the original Magenta – Patricia Quinn, and the original Columbia – Nell Campbell, plus a live shadow cast performance throughout the movie, a costume contest, memorabilia display with film artifacts, and more.

You don’t even need to bring your own rice or confetti, water pistols or rubber gloves, as an audience participation prop bag is included with every ticket for use throughout the show. Dressing up however is an activity that is always encouraged so dig out your fishnets, gold lamé speedos or preppy Brad and Janet garb, shiver with antici…pation and get ready to do The Time Warp again.
