Brighton Psych Fest 2026 expands!

The team behind Brighton Psych Fest have added some interesting names to the line up for this year’s events in a new announcement.

The biggest name is of course White Denim; the garage rockers from Austin Texas, who are about to release their 13th Album ‘WD13’ on Bella Union. Lead single ‘Lock and Key’, taken from the album is a glorious slice of fun psychedelic southern fried country soul, with a kick ass boogie edge. It certainly suggests that spending part of your festival in their company will be a fine way to have a knees up.

Also on the bill are killer tunes of LA synthy post punks Automatic, the Mary Chainy goodness of The Dharma Chain, the aussie indie pop of Belair Lip Bombs, the ethereal cinematic soundscapes of Anna Von Hausswolf, Sex Mask who created a one in one out queue where ever they played at the 2025 Great Escape and Mary In The Junkyard who appear to be on their way to bigger and better things on the strength of new dreamy single ‘Crash Landing’.

Local Bands include the increasingly confident Slag and out very own psychedelic explosion; the most excellent Ellis-D who are an essential live band to see as the sweat of the packed dancing crowds just about stops the band form catching fire in front of you.

All that and a band called Piss. What is not to like?
