There’s no stopping this lot. Having released eleven records in as many years, David Tattersall and chums popped out a twenty-song double album back in October – and now they’re on tour again. Inspired by a US road trip supporting Allo Darlin’, ‘City Of Forgiveness’ sees the band introduce some American blues into their usual mix of lo-fi English indie and African highlife riffs. Most importantly, the new songs have lost none of the wit and wisdom that tends to lurk within Tattershall’s seemingly throwaway lyrics. Catch them now before they go and release another album or two.
