We Shall Overcome, 2nd-4th Oct

We Shall Overcome is a national weekend of gigs aimed at raising awareness of food charities and activist groups. Brighton’s contribution is centred around two fine venues: The Greys and The Cowley Club, with two local organisations Love Activists and Fareshare benefiting from your donations. The Cowley plays host Friday and Saturday evening to bands with folk punk leanings plus a Zine Fair during the day, while the grand finale at The Greys on Sunday 4th features Chris T-T, Pog and Robb Johnson amongst others. All events are free but tinned and non-perishable food collections will be taken (vegan/vegetarian only for Love Activists please) and a whip-round to cover costs.

The Cowley Club & The Greys Pub, Friday 2nd – Sunday 4th October 2015
