Willy Mason came to the beautiful Proud Cabaret bar on a sultry summer’s night and played a beautiful set of his gruff and simple bluesy folk songs drawn from the albums ‘Where The Humans Eat’ and ‘If The Ocean Gets Rough’. The venue was packed and the audience loved him, singing along on some of the better known songs like ‘Oxygen’ and ‘We Can Be Strong’. He ended the evening covering a song by his parents, which was joyful. He’s back in the UK for a bigger tour in the Autumn and plays the Brighton Dome in early November. It’s bound to sell out.
