Mutations 2026 Full Line-Up Announcement

While we might have got just a little distracted by all things Nick Cave related, we can now get back to the serious business of salivating with excitement over the 2026 edition of Mutations with today’s line up announcement. As if Mike D 5D wasn’t enough this year really is looking to be something special.

Joining the former Beastie Boy and Fatdog, at the top of the bill are the mighty angular sounds of the beloved former Brighton residents Squid and the yearning arty crooning of Dove Ellis. There are also notable appearances for northern ravers Workings Men’s Club, Hull shoegazers BDRMM, Canadian art rockers Besnard Lakes, louche pop wastrels Insecure Men, Welsh girl punks Panic Shack and a rare appearance from the Belgian Warhaus who will be a must see for lovers of Cave and Cohen.

In the lower reaches of the line up many a treat can be found, including Morn who were one of the absolute highlights of this year’s Great Escape, proggy psych from Plantoid, dreamy pop from the excellent Deary, LCD style sleazy dance from The Itch, the ever excellent Modern Woman, the Cardiacs style explosion of Alien Chicks, the joyous ramblings of the prolific Big Long Sun and the melodic post punk racket of Pulled Apart By Horses.

The venues involved in this year’s festival include; Chalk, Patterns, Revenge, The Hope & Ruin, Green Door Store, Dust, The Prince ALbert, Folklore Rooms, Alphabet and Daltons.

Mutations has really grown to become a Jewel in Brighton’s crown and this article barely scratches the surface of the line up in all its glory. Its so packed we nearly didn’t even mention an appearance by Mo Wax founder James Lavelle with his Unkle Sounds project!
