When you hear that a band that is named after a Victorian freak show and predominantly write songs about death, you’d be forgiven for envisaging teenage goths with three un-tuned guitars. But wait! Brighton band Oddfellow’s Casino are hauntingly enchanting, with sweet melodies and, despite the darkness of the lyrics, a mature and tightly styled outfit. Their third album, ‘The Raven’s Empire,’ launches tonight with sideshows of short horror film screenings and support acts.
