This month’s SOURCE New Music finds us welcoming back one of our very favourite Brighton bands, AK/DK, for the launch of their new single. Following their genius reincarnation as AC/DC for Sea Monsters earlier in the year, the duo packed out the Green Door Store for Brighton Noise and start this month bringing their double drum/synth motorik to our continental friends on a Swiss tour. It’s not just SOURCE who rate them as one of Brighton’s best live bands, so hopefully they’ll bring everyone back a Toblerone to say thanks.

Stuart Huggett grew up in Hastings, writing fanzines and blogs about the town’s underground music scene. He has been a regular contributor to SOURCE, NME, The Quietus and Bowlegs. His huge archive of magazines, flyers and vinyl is either an invaluable research tool or a bloody pain. He occasionally runs tinpot record label Dizzy Tiger, DJs sporadically and plays live even less.
