Prepared to prayanama? Down with the downward dog crowd? Then the Brighton Yoga Festival is perfect for you. Back for a second year at the beautiful St George’s Church and gardens in Kemptown, the event includes free classes, trade stands and therapies from some of the city’s finest and most inspiring yoga teachers and studios.

Co-founder Mikaela Perera says, “If you’ve never tried yoga, you don’t know what you’re missing. There is such diversity within Brighton’s yoga scene, and at the festival we want to give a flavour of all the wonderful strands of yoga on offer, from Ashtanga to Yin.”

The event is free and welcomes all ages and abilities. So, if you are an experienced yogi looking to try something new or taking your first steps into this ancient practice, this could be the place to start. Namaste.

St George’s Church, Kemptown, Saturday 25th July, 2015, 9am-5.30pm
