Stick it On for RISE, Friday 27th November

Oct 27, 2015

Posted by Karen McDermott

All hands on deck as RISE recruit bedroom DJs to a fundraiser to support the recognition and prevention of sexual violence. SOURCE readers will be familiar with Stick It On, a club night where the punters take turns at being DJ. This is an opportunity to not only bask in that 15 minute glory, but to contribute to the series of events the local charity are putting on for ’16 Days Of Action’ – a global campaign to end violence against women. Other events related to the cause include the Living Library, where volunteers can be ‘borrowed’ to have their tales told, and various screening at Duke’s at Komedia. Visit Safe In The City for details on all the other stuff going on.
