Emily

Models are all anorexic giraffes, so you’d think that being tall and slim would make shopping a breeze. Well, no, actually. Most of the high street only seems to want to cater for a small band of ‘average’ women. The more Amazonian in our tribe find that British clothes frequently come up short – non-skinny jeans and t-shirts being a particular pain in the elevated arse. The wonderfully elegant and willowy Emily here agrees and when enthusing about her coat says, “It’s not that often that I can find a coat with sleeves that are long enough.” So the grass is always greener – but at least you’re not a midget so your knees don’t get wet in the morning dew.

Beret from American Apparel
“I only bought it two days ago – I love the 40s vintage look.”

Sunglasses from Next
“I like them because they’re really big and they’ve got that Audrey Hepburn thing.”

Coat from Top Shop
“I absolutely love the colour and the back is longer than the front with a big bow on it like a frock coat.”

Bag from Top Shop
“The leather is really, really soft and it’s got a nice pocket on the front.”

Jeans from Top Shop
“I only ever wear skinnies. These are perfect, which is hard to find cos I’m so tall.”

Trainers from Rocket Dog
“They’ve got little badges down the side which are really cute.”
