Club Europ Express, Thurs 1st Nov

Oct 1, 2018
-
Posted by Becky Hogge

Started in April 2017 by Brighton locals who wanted to face down the Brexit gloom, Club Europ Express is a night for people who still feel European to come and celebrate that feeling together. Each club night features a special guest speaker, as well as live video links to different European countries – a dozen so far, from Lapland to Lisbon. This month outspoken Guardian columnist and Another Europe is Possible campaigner Zoe Williams appears in person, with dial-ins from Niccolo Milanese in Paris, author of Citizens of Nowhere: How Europe Can Be Saved From Itself, and photographer Michał Iwanowski in Warsaw. Newcomers can expect a friendly atmosphere, cocktails and good conversation. An upbeat set of Francophonic sounds from resident Fip DJs tops off the night.

The Rose Hill, Thursday 1st November 2018, £5/£2 suggested donation
