Brighton Music Conference 2020

October sees the welcome return of the annual Brighton Music Conference (BMC), uniting artists, delegates and leading experts at an extremely challenging time for the music industry and night-time economy.

Now in its seventh year, the UK’s premier annual electronic music and networking conference will go ahead as a virtual event, with a multitude of panels, Q&As, workshops, tutorials and DJ sets to be streamed live and on-demand via the BMC website. This year’s line-up boasts over 200 speakers including the likes of Carl Cox, Danny Howard, Fatboy Slim, Hannah Wants, Nicole Moudaber and Sister Bliss (to name just a few) all set to appear across the two-day line-up. Beats, clicks and how to market yourself as a DJ are not the only topics up for discussion, however, with wide-ranging sessions dedicated to ‘Raving, Race & Responsibility’, ‘Mental Health & Wellbeing Post-Lockdown’ and the ‘Global Impact of Covid on the Dancefloor’.

Given the current financial state of the electronic music industry, BMC organisers have generously decided to make access to the conference FREE to all – making this year’s event unmissable for aspiring DJs and producers looking for tips on how to break into the scene as well as insight into the challenges the scene currently faces. In case you miss out, SOURCE will be on hand to bring you all the highlights from this year’s event.

Brighton Music Conference (BMC), i360, Thursday 1st – Friday 2nd October 2020

You can register for a free virtual pass with full access to BMC20 here
