Nostalgic shoegazers Spotlight Kid are bringing the psychedelic 90s back one hip-sway at a time. September’s album ‘Departure’ shows maturity in their style, and each track was recorded in one take, adding to the lo-fi appeal. Listen out for ‘Can’t Let Go (This Feeling)’, a slow-building future classic. Support comes from Tyrannosaurus Dead, who are rapidly getting a reputation as one of Brighton’s best live acts, and atmospheric lounge band The Witches.
