Put on by the good folks at Brighthelmstone Promotions, The Palmeira in Hove will be hosting the first ever Palmfest, a UK Americana all-dayer headlined by the godfather of UK Americana himself, Peter Bruntnell and his band. Also on the bill are the highly rated Small Town Jones, Bap Kennedy, and Robert Vincent, while Brighton is represented by the return of Caramel Jack as well as The Self Help Group and The Jamie Freeman Agreement.

Ian Chambers is the founder of Wildwood Promotions. He's been promoting regular shows in Brighton for the past three years working with artists such as Charlie Parr, The Electric Soft Parade, Alasdair Roberts and Meg Baird of Espers. He's been a music journalist since 2005 writing for a number of music websites and having written articles for the Irish Post newspaper. He also has experience in band management.
