Bang Bang Burrito comes to The Sidewinder

Branching out from their successful Jubilee Street takeaway, Mexican street food specialists Bang Bang Burrito are now serving up in Kemp Town’s Sidewinder pub. Head chef Matt Young spent four years learning his craft on the Mexican border, honing his talent for creating authentic burritos, quesdillas and tostadas. Matt’s added some of his own unique street food recipes to the menu and his salsa ranges from mild to truly eye-wateringly hot (do not approach his Bang Bang Bonnet salsa without a drink to hand). Of course, The Sidewinder’s popular roast dinners are staying on the Sunday menu too.

Stuart Huggett grew up in Hastings, writing fanzines and blogs about the town’s underground music scene. He has been a regular contributor to SOURCE, NME, The Quietus and Bowlegs. His huge archive of magazines, flyers and vinyl is either an invaluable research tool or a bloody pain. He occasionally runs tinpot record label Dizzy Tiger, DJs sporadically and plays live even less.
