Flip Top Head Announce Debut EP And Launch Party

One Brighton band to truly capture our hearts and minds since we first saw them support Opus Kink at Patterns has been Flip Top Head. They are a delightfully artistic bunch, many of whom you will recognise from playing in a ton of other local bands, and their performances are never less than electric. Taking from Black Country, New Road without being derivative, Flip Top Head remind us of English Teacher and the operatic pipes of Bowie, hitting some yearning notes thanks to some phenomenal musicianship from the assembled clan.

After a brace of excellent singles the band are now ready to launch their debut EP, from which the track ‘So Much For Mole Catching’ is taken. The song builds to a euphoric climax that matches the best of Arcade Fire.

To celebrate this release they will be playing their biggest headline show to date at Alphabet, where the stunning sound system and theatrical surroundings should make for an exquisite pairing with this most beautiful of bands.
