Alison Moyet, Saturday 10th October

Alison Moyet and her band (Sean McGhee, Brendan Cox and Paul Jones) will play a unique 34-date headline tour – Songs of Yazoo, the minutes & Other – starting in September 2026 which will play in Europe, the UK and Ireland. This tour will consist exclusively of songs from the Yazoo catalogue and select tracks from Alison’s acclaimed solo electronica albums ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’ and will be stopping off at Brighton Dome on 10th October.

While a handful of Yazoo hits are staples of Alison’s live sets, much of the band’s material has rarely been performed outside of their two brief tours (their 1982 breakthrough and their 2008 ‘Reconnected’ reunion). This is a unique opportunity to experience songs live that propelled their phenomenal yet short-lived run, which encompassed the seminal album ‘Upstairs At Eric’s’ (certified Platinum in both the UK and US) and their parting release ‘You And Me Both’ (#1 in the UK).

Additionally, the tour will also feature select songs from Alison’s critically lauded solo LPs ‘the minutes’ (2013) and ‘Other’ (2017). Both albums, produced by and predominantly co-written with Guy Sigsworth, were emphatically received as triumphant creative returns to electronica making them the perfect partners for this tour.

Alison says, “Many years touring the same pool of songs and I am keen for a palate refresher. Specifying which years I will be fishing from too, I think is a grand way to serve pot luck for specific tastes. No bones…”

Alison Moyet started off as a punk, became one half of iconic synth-pop duo Yazoo, and released her groundbreaking #1 debut solo album, Alf – all by the age of 23. She’s released ten solo studio albums, won three BRIT Awards, been nominated for a Grammy for ‘Best Female Rock Vocal Performance’ and recently graduated from university with a first-class degree in Fine Art Printmaking. She is one of the most celebrated and distinctive voices the UK has ever produced. In 2024 she marked her 40th anniversary as a solo artist with the Top 10 album ‘Key’, launched her podcast, ’40 Moyet Moments’, which topped UK and International music podcast charts, and completed a huge sell-out 59-date world tour in 2025. Autumn 2026 will see Alison on the road in Europe and the UK again, with this tour consisting exclusively of songs from the Yazoo catalogue and select tracks from her Guy Sigsworth-produced solo electronica albums, ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’.

Alison says, “Live work really matters to me. I love the physical feeling that singing gives me. It’s totally primal and euphoric. On stage, I remember how to connect with myself.”

Tickets are on general sale this Friday 13th at 10am, or there is a pre-sale open to Dome members on Thursday 12th and an artist pre-sale on Wednesday – see Alison’s website here for details.
You can buy direct from the Dome Box Office or online here.
