There’s no northern leg this year, but Yorkshire’s loss is Brighton’s gain as Leeds indie heroes The Wedding Present take over the Concorde for two full days of their annual festival. David Gedge and co celebrate the occasion by playing beloved debut album ‘George Best’ on day one, and their inspired 1992 run of monthly chart singles ‘The Hit Parade’ on day two. Supports old and new include The Twilight Sad, The Flatmates, Gwenno from The Pipettes and The Wonder Stuff’s Miles Hunt. (SH)
