Experimental rap noise duo Death Grips have had a meteoric rise fuelled by some ferocious free music, although their giveaway of last year’s cock-covered ‘No Love Deep Web’ got them dropped by their label. Consisting of MC Ride on vocals and Hella drummer Zach Hill on production, their live sets are reminiscent of an unholy fusion of Sex Pistols punk and Wu-Tang hip hop. The charismatic and perpetually topless MC Ride performs with a passion and energy that shows a love for his craft and makes it abundantly clear why critics and fans just can’t get enough of them.
