For the uninitiated, Femmeuary is a collective blog featuring poetry, writing, comedy, film and photography for ‘those interested, aggravated or enlightened by feminism.’ For the past month the quintet behind Femmeuary have been running daily features online – some accessible, some aiming to shock, some beautiful, all thought-provoking – and this night at the Prince Albert is the culmination and celebration of all this work. Upstairs at The Prince Albert will be transformed into an area where you can see spoken word, music and poetry performed live (Pink Lizards have been confirmed so far), view artwork, watch film screenings and eat cake whilst you take it all in. There’s merchandise for sale including the Femmeuary zine and prints by artist contributors. Free entry too.
