Grassroots Suicide Prevention Fundraiser, Thurs 1st June

May 1, 2017

Posted by Steve Clements

Grassroots is a small Brighton based charity with a simple but powerful goal: that no one should have to contemplate suicide alone. They work locally and nationally with communities, organisations and individuals, helping them to become ready, willing and able to effectively support someone at risk of suicide. Their training and consultancy helps save lives by enabling the kind of conversations that can really make a difference. Obviously this takes a lot of money, so this fundraiser aims to raise awareness and funds to help the cause.

Hot rod fuzz heroes Rex Speedway & Thee Fortune Tellers bring their good time garage sound which always guarantees a crowd-pleasing set and are ably supported by Sonic Summer Pudding, a new Brighton-based Rickenbacker-led psychedelic combo.

With DJ sets from Kidda (SKINT, Puma Strut), Gareth Stephens (Mr Bongo) and Jack Thunder this is a great line-up for a worthwhile cause that needs your support.
