We were briefly worried that Jakwob had got lost in wobble bass forever but new tune ‘Electrify’ has dispelled such trepidation via a return to the harmonious coupling of female vocals over dubstep snares and transcendent chords that made his name in the first place. His singles have always alluded to the producer’s talent as a multi-instrumentalist and fortunately his DJ sets confirm this, spanning his wide influences from jazz and folk to hip hop and jungle.
