Kid Congo And The Pink Monkey Birds, 10th Dec

Promoters Acid Box invite you to help celebrate their 4th birthday – since 2013, they have brought a wide variety of international psychedelic rock acts to this buzzing seaside city, including Kikagaku Moyo, L.A. Witch and Here Lies Man.

There will be the usual buffet of loud guitars and relentless drumming, with a platter of quirky vocals and bloopy synths to help create a vibrant party atmosphere.

Californian Kid Congo Powers (The Gun Club, The Cramps, The Bad Seeds) is not too far from celebrating 40 years in the industry. He’ll be joined by The Pink Monkey Birds for some up-tempo rock’n’roll.

Also headlining – Fumaça Preta want to shout at you in Portuguese (or Spanish), and it’s highly recommended that you let them, as they gather enthusiastic plaudits wherever they go.
