Lewes Psychedelic Festival, Saturday 29th January

Dec 29, 2021

Posted by Jason Warner

Something to brighten those dark January days, the technicolour dream that is the Lewes Psychedelic Festival makes a very welcome return this month. In previous years acts like AK/DK and Melt Dunes have damn near lifted the roof off regular venue, All Saints Centre, and 2022 headliners The Lucid Dream doubtless will do the same.

This year there’s an additional smaller stage where you’ll find Johanna Bramli and Plinth, while Eliza Skelton and ELLiS.D will be playing in the Union Music Store over the road. The centre itself will be bathed in a kaleidoscope of colour thanks to the lysergic projections of Innerstrings, as ĠENN, Melt Plastic Group, Codex Serafini and School Disco help you tune in to your inner Barrett.

Having once been taught to breakdance by Universal Records I'm now a freelance photographer and writer. Brian Wilson and Dolly Parton are my celestial parents and although I am new to Brighton, I'm falling in love with this craziest of crazy towns!
