2013 thus far has seen music almost drown in a sea of female led dream-pop, however London duo Still Corners stand a cut above the rest. Signed to Sub Pop, their brand of ethereal, haunting 80s synthpop draws more than a few parallels to The Cranes and Cocteau Twins, with melodies reminiscent of The Cure or The Passions. Touring with their new album ‘Strange Pleasures’, this show will provide the perfect antidote to a hectic bank holiday weekend.
