Tribes: Concorde 2 Sat 21st April

Tribes have taken critics and fans by storm, with Zane Lowe calling their song ‘We Were Children’ “the hottest record in the world”.  Their upbeat, heartfelt guitar anthems work better than the slow songs; maybe because they chime more closely to their influences of Nirvana and REM.  But when they’re good they’re really good, and in an age of electronica it’s nice to see a band wearing their guitar sound so firmly on their sleeve.
