Haley Bonar has been doing a fair bit of press in the UK over the past few days, including a stellar performance on the Jools Holland show, but Brighton was the first gig on her UK tour.
Support came from our much-loved local Stuart Warwick and up-and-coming indie popsters Girl Ray.
Haley Bonar played an array of songs from her albums, old and new. The band was on top form and Bonar seemed to love being out in front of the crowd in the intimate and long sold-out Green Door Store. It was a great set, and with nowhere to escape to she played two encores, including a moving solo version of ‘Eat For Free’ to end the show. Brighton Source was there to take some pictures.
