Natty Review

The night started off with a gentle, spiritually inspired set from the talented Sam Garrett, his distinctive voice dancing from soft tones to bold soulful passion throughout. Garrett was joined on stage by a fellow guitarist whose talents were just as strong with their harmonious acoustic sounds. All in all it was a delicate, yet powerful performance from the pair.

Natty took to the stage with his accompanying band, The Rebel Ship, with an immediate high tempo of energy. We could tell they definitely wanted to go out with a buzz on their last tour date. The crowd were more than ready and there was chorus of fans singing along word-for-word from the off. Definite favourites were the classic ‘Bedroom Eyes’ and ‘July’, serenaded to all the ladies out there. The interlude of Cali P’s appearance proved to be a strong performance from start to finish.

With Natty leading from the front, it was clear this group had a special unity. This was accentuated by Natty’s words at the end of the gig; speaking of community, energy and movement giving a final positive taste to an already potent final show.
