Brighton Music Conference DJ line-up announced

Acid house pioneer DJ Pierre, dubstep don Skream and Brighton’s baron of techno Dave Clarke are among the first wave of artists announced for the inaugural Brighton Music Conference (Fri 11th – Sat 12th April). Taking place at the Dome and other Brighton venues, the daytime conference events focus on music technology, business and education, and include the UK’s first hands-on look at Roland’s new, reimagined versions of their seminal TR-808, TR-909 and TB-303 machines, the building blocks of house music.

DJ Pierre also joins Orbital’s Paul Hartnoll, Lisa Lashes and Above And Beyond’s Jono Grant in the BMC’s line-up of guest speakers. The accompanying club nights, including showcases from Skint, Black Rock Records, JOOF, Wiggle and Lost, take place across various Brighton venues to be confirmed. Meanwhile, here’s that first wave of artists in full:
