Not only are they five years old but the Blah Blah Blah DJs have also been chosen to host an after party at Exit Festival, so tonight doubles as a pre-Exit warm-up party and birthday celebration. Headlining is Julio Bashmore whose harmonious amalgamation of UK bass music and underground house had DJs and clubbers alike clamouring for anything played or produced by the young Bristolian. ‘Battle For Middle You’ was a pensive bit of deep house with an elastic bassline and a flicking, whirring, wheeling synth that announced a guy with a very individual sound. In support are Blacksmif and Wildkats.
