At their crossover peak, Dave McPherson’s alt-metal outfit InMe were chart regulars, their first two albums giving birth to a brace of hit singles in those heady noughties days when rock bands could actually break into the Top 40 every week. Centiment is a side project that finds McPherson, a couple of his InMe bandmates (drummer brother Greg and guitarist Gazz Marlow) and some geek minded friends releasing their inner gamer with a screaming blitz of 8-bit thrash prog mayhem. Get your joysticks out.

Stuart Huggett grew up in Hastings, writing fanzines and blogs about the town’s underground music scene. He has been a regular contributor to SOURCE, NME, The Quietus and Bowlegs. His huge archive of magazines, flyers and vinyl is either an invaluable research tool or a bloody pain. He occasionally runs tinpot record label Dizzy Tiger, DJs sporadically and plays live even less.
