Friend Within, Fri 4th September

Aug 4, 2015
-
Posted by Sarah Puttock

Friend Within. A name on the lips and hips of this year’s clubbers and festival goers. You may not have heard of Friend Within yet, but the Kirkby born DJ has been working the clubs for many years under his real name of Lee Mortimer. Deciding to take a step back to his roots and reincarnate himself into more of a contemporary house DJ and mixologist, Friend Within has joined Disclosure and Eats Everything on the wave of success in the clubs, also receiving praise from Annie Mac and Camden Cox. Expect a candid show, and one that will likely include a spin of his concrete refix of Wildchild’s classic, ‘Renegade Master’.
