Jake Wood-Evans is a regular at Ink_d, exuding the best of both his fine art grounding and the baroque influences he absorbed while in Madrid (courtesy of a classical study scholarship from the Royal Academy). His use of colour is strong and rich but also ghostly and ethereal, and the gallery has perhaps pulled off something of a coup in managing to bring the first solo show of his new collection of canvasses back to his home city.
