Hip hop works well in the bricked-out murk of the Green Door Store and US rapper Michael Render, aka Killer Mike, works hip hop hard. The long-time Outkast associate brings tracks from his most recent (and excellent), ‘R.A.P. Music’ album to the venue tonight, where producer El-P’s brutal synth-heavy beats and a highly charged political agenda will combine for something of a grass roots rap show.
