Lewes is not all about bonfires. All the cool kids know that one of the most delightful events of the year is the annual January pilgrimage to this most beautiful of market towns for the Lewes Psychedelic Festival. This year the event is being hosted by Lewes Con Club and will be run over two days.

The first wave of the line up has just been announced. The Friday headliners are the shoegaze legends; The Miki Berenyi Trio who have now signed to Bella Union and who played a wonderful headline show at the Hope and Ruin earlier this year. The Saturday night will be headlined by the dreamy guitar pop of Glaswegians; Helicon, who have just released new single ‘Higher’ on the ever excellent Fuzz Club Records.

They will be joined across the weekend by the lauded Brighton based primitive guitarist Gwenifer Raymond, Norwich ‘Sgt Pepper’ fans Floral Image, arch pop from BITW, riff merchants Large Plants and lysergic pastoral folk from Sairie. Further acts will be announced.

Tickets will sell out, as the general sense of love for this event grows, attracting an ever increasing crowd of regulars.
