Peaches, Fri 4th Dec

Posted by Karen McDermott

What else is in the teaches of Peaches? Vaginoplasty, genderbending and class elimination – according to latest album ‘Rub’, which also features collaborations with Feist and Kim Gordon. Peaches’ machine gun lyrics are like being hit on the head with a diamanté dildo, while her pounding synthpop and catchy choruses (“Dick in the air / Let me see you put your / Put your dick in the air”) will surely rock the roof off the Concorde 2. Those who managed to get tickets are in for an evening of exquisite electroclash and x-rated onstage antics from this mesmerising frontwoman.
