Professor Elemental, Fri 6th July

Posted by Adam Peters

His feud with Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer (who has an LP out this month) seemingly on the wane, chap hop adventurer Elemental parks his steampunk-powered charabanc up by Preston Circus tonight. He’s best known for a song about tea, but those not accustomed to his blend of rap beat and English elite might prefer something stronger to fully appreciate the performance. Orchestral goth punks Birdeatsbaby, fresh from an extensive US tour, and comedy rap collective Sanity Valve complete an eclectic line-up.

Adam Peters
Adam Peters started out publishing football fanzines in the late 80s. Various jobs on video games magazines and a brief dalliance scripting photo love stories for the teen press followed. Switching media to television, he co-wrote David Walliams' first sitcom, was somehow once BAFTA-nominated and now concentrates on pre-school animation series. Coming full circle, in 2013 he launched a roller derby fanzine.
