Telepathe, Fri 28th Sept

Posted by Matt Barker

Although they seem to be a perennially under-the-radar act – apparently destined to be described as “hip” forever – this isn’t Brooklyn duo Telepathe’s first trip to Brighton. A full-to-capacity Digital hosted them last time, and no doubt the admission fee then was more than the very reasonable price tonight (free). Their 2009 debut was the perfect combination of softly melodious vocals and arch, dancey electronics, and this time around they’re on TV On The Radio’s David Sitek’s label.
