Despite the surprisingly crowded folk scene, this trio of sisters from Watford staved their way into recognition early on with a soft, autumnal sound that made them apt supporters for Bon Iver during their US and Canadian summer tour. Now The Staves are on a tour of their own with the release of their debut album ‘Dead & Born & Grown’ imminent (November 12th to be exact). You can catch them at Brighton’s Komedia on November 20th.
