Thee Sacred Souls, Weds 15th July

Since 2022, Thee Sacred Souls have toured North America and Europe, playing their sweet soul music at numerous sold-out headlining shows, and in the process have gone from budding young musicians to a tight-knit, road-tested band who know how to wow audiences, old and new.

The San Diego-based trio’s satin vocals and vintage melodies pay homage to the classic Southern California Latino soul groups of the 1960s and 70s and have won over British fans with their scintillating performances at festivals such as Cross The Tracks in 2024 and last year’s Love Supreme.

In Josh Lane, Thee Sacred Souls has a charismatic lead vocalist whose voice can soar over the tight, laid back grooves laid down by bassist Sal Samano and drummer Alex Garcia and is no stranger to getting off the stage and spreading his message of love, up close and personal, to fans. Their music is produced by Bosco Mann (Gabriel Roth), co-founder of Brooklyn’s legendary Daptone Records (Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, etc) giving it a warm, textured, analogue feel.

They’ve just released Any Old Fool, a previously unreleased track from the recording sessions of their acclaimed 2024 album, ‘Got a Story to Tell’. This dancefloor-friendly proclamation of love is streaming now and available on 7” single.

They perform at the Brighton Centre on Wednesday 15th July in what should be the perfect summer evening of blissful, soul vibes delivered by a passionate band at the top of their game.

Tickets are on sale now at brightoncentre.co.uk or in person at the box office.
