Jack

Smith’s fans weren’t the most cutting edge of dressers (Moz clones the lot of ’em, even the girls) but Morrissey gave one of the classic fashion quotes when he announced, “I wear black on the outside, cos black is how I feel on the inside.” Jack – who makes music under the name of Mumdance and has remixes of Santogold and Radioclit imminent – clearly doesn’t feel internally dark, so has livened the classic outfit up with some colourful balloons.

Of course we wouldn’t dare suggest that a clutch of balloons is this season’s must have, but it wouldn’t be as stupid as the Sunday Times Style supplement who recently recommended black as it’s “vibrationally strong”. Fashion journos, hey!?

Harrington Jacket from Dirty Harry’s
“I love the lining, the Harrington print.”

2. Polo shirt by Fred Perry
“It’s a classic look, it never goes out.”

3. Belt borrowed from girlfriend
“It was on the floor when I needed a belt.”

4. Jeans from H&M
“It’s just a pair of jeans, my first pair from H&M.”

5. Balloons from Revamp
“I always carry some balloons.”
